The Fuaim na Chunneagainai show is coming to the Castlecourt Hotel on the February 6 for one show only at 8.30pm sharp. The band are Louise McKenny on flute, Jimmy Higgins on bodhrán, Tom Dorothy and John Holleran on accordion, Fiachra O’Regan on pipes, Sadhbh O’Flaherty on banjo, and Joe Gibson on fiddle and guitar.

Joe Fury and The Hayride are based in the mid-west region of Ireland, on the Galway-Mayo border. The Hayride are a high energy live performance band who play a combination of styles that range from rockabilly, swamp, blues, bluegrass and vintage country. Joe Fury, originally from the south of England, was born to Irish parents and moved to the west of Ireland in 2002.

Galway’s latest festival, the Moondance Music & Arts Festival, takes place from Friday August 14 to Sunday 16 at Petersburg House, Clonbur, and will feature Lisa Hannigan, Jape, and Mairtín O’Connor.
